Picture editor moves to group-wide role in sister titles’ restructure

Zoe WatsonA picture desk chief is to move to a group-wide role as part of a publisher’s editorial restructure.

Irish Daily Mirror picture editor Zoe Watson has been appointed group picture editor for Reach Ireland, which will see her work across titles in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Zoe, pictured, will be joined in the new structure by deputy group picture editor Ciaran Burns.

The restructure also features a number of other editorial changes affecting Reach titles in the Republic of Ireland only.

Dublin Live editor Aengus O’Hanlon has been appointed group head of news, with Darragh Berry succeeding him at the website.

Mark O’Brien will move up to deputy editor at Dublin Live.

The Irish Daily Star’s Brian Flanagan has been promoted to the new position of head of sport and will oversee the entire sports operation across all titles in the Republic of Ireland, while Rachel Beresford and Keith Falkiner will become assistant news editors.
