The editor of an independent local news website has taken on a second job with a news agency.
Wiltshire Today founder Daniel Jae Webb has joined the South West News Service as a reporter in a move he hopes “will allow the agency to cover more Wiltshire news”.
Daniel will work flexible part-time hours with SWNS, for which he has previously worked on a freelance basis, in order to continue his activities with Wiltshire Today.
He recently relaunched his former title Wiltshire 999s title as Wiltshire Today after a brief spell working on the launch team of Wiltshire Live, Reach plc’s new site covering the county, over the summer.
Daniel, pictured, announced his new appointment on Twitter.
He wrote: “I’m excited to announce that I have joined SWNS as a reporter, after many years of working with them as a freelancer.
“It’s hoped my appointment will allow the agency to cover more Wiltshire news.
“I’ll be working flexible part-time hours, allowing me to continue Wiltshire Today.”
