The editor of a regional publisher’s business title is leaving his role for a new job in public relations.
Glasgow-based PR consultancy Hollicom has announced the appointment of Scottish Business Insider editor Ken Symon as associate director.
Ken, pictured, had run the Reach-owned title since 2016.
During his career, Ken also worked as an investigative reporter at the Glasgow Evening Times where he won a UK press award for his work on the Poll Tax.
He will lead the business-to-business side of Hollicom and also work on business development with the executive team
Ken said: “I am delighted to be joining Hollicom as it expands and works to better serve its clients in what is still a very challenging time for many businesses.
“I am looking forward to working a highly creative team to help advise businesses as they face the issues and opportunities of working in the ‘new normal’ as we emerge from the pandemic.”
