Journalism students with cricket writing aspirations have been urged to sign up to a new scheme which will allow them to showcase their work.
The Cricket Writers’ Club has launched a new student membership scheme to “support the endeavours” of those hoping to report professionally on the sport.
The club aims to help those signing up to the scheme by organising Q&A events from existing cricket writers and providing a special advice guide to the cricket media for students.
It also plans to facilitate networking events and provide online platforms for members to showcase their work within the industry.
Membership is available to UK residents aged over 18 and in tertiary education, or aged between 18 and 23.
The cost of membership is £5 per annum. More information can be found here.
