Regional publisher’s PR agency launches new website

A regional publisher’s public relations agency has launched a new and “more user friendly” website.

Star Public Relations, which is owned by the Midland News Association, says the site easier to navigate and up to date compared to its previous offering.

The website now boasts sections that include a regularly updated blog and details about the bespoke services.

The Star PR team has now also grown to three permanent members of staff and already served six retained clients after 12 months of trading.

Clients include two skills and training firms, a leading furniture retailer and a large housing association.

Agency director Sundeep Sehijpal said: “The new Star Public Relations website has been launched to reflect a fresh approach. The platform is now easier to use and more straightforward for both existing and potential clients.

“Our bespoke services that we offer clients are explained on our site, with the opportunity to talk to a member of the team.

“Star PR offers a wide range of affordable PR services, including Media Relations, Content Creation & Strategy, Social Media Management and Communications Strategy, which will help get your brand in front of your target audience.”

Yes, very fluffy. Unfortunately it’s 2018 and people are still building unencrypted (i.e. not https) websites. Worse, this one has an unencrypted form containing a users name/phone number/email address. Not impressive and likely a breach of the DPA.

How much of a say do the clients get over how the group’s papers use the press releases?
