A Northern Irish daily experienced a slight increase in circulation over the past six months, according to the latest ABC figures.
The Belfast-based Irish News saw its circulation rise by 1.1pc between January and June, when compared with the prior six months.
However, the News and all three of the other Belfast-based daily and Sunday newspapers showed year-on-year circulation declines overall.
The Belfast Telegraph remains the most-read title in Northern Ireland, with a circulation of 39,314.
The figures were released as part of ABC’s figures for the island of Ireland, which are released separately from those covering newspapers in Great Britain.
