A regional news website is hosting a series of talks from sporting heroes at rugby clubs across its patch.

Gloucestershire Live has announced the launch of its Rugby Live sessions, which will be held throughout the forthcoming rugby union season.

Speakers will include Wales and British Lions international Ross Moriarty, former World Cup winner Andy Gomarsall and international referee Wayne Barnes.

The events will be run in association with Gloucester-based events company Aitch and Aitch Bee.

The first talk will be held at Longlevens RFC, in the city, next month.

Jenny Eastwood, editor of Gloucestershire Live, said: “It is exciting to be able to bring this array of rugby stars to Longlevens.

“Each of the members of our panel have distinguished rugby careers and will be able to give fascinating insight into the game ahead of the new season.”
