There will also be a number of offers and deals to restaurants, cafes and pubs across Norfolk inside the EDP, with some offering up to 50pc off their food.

Editor David Powles told readers: “We are very fortunate in this part of the world that we have a plethora of talented chefs and literally hundreds of superb places to choose from when we want to dine out.

“I’m delighted that over the next four weeks we will be able to share with you some of their recipes, as well as help make it a bit easier to enjoy their food with a selection of great offers.”

    Collectible?
Reader collects are old hat and don’t give the sales hike the editors and newspaper sales people tell themselves they’ll get.
Want a recipe by top chefs? There’s thousands online
Want to grow copy sales? Focus on quality content and relevance not reader give aways

I can’t see any current non buyers buying the paper to get this, recipes and all of this is readily available free on line including restaurant and dining out offers and deals, there’s plentyavailable and most local restaurants, cafes and bars have offers available, just pop in and support your local traders.

As a paper copy sales driver it’s all a bit 1970s isn’t it

Wait until next year and the GoGoHares trail – if 2015’s GoGoDragons are anything to go by, Archant’s marketing will be going into overdrive. This exercise is just marking time until then.
