City news website runs month-long campaign to help house buyers

A city news website is running a series of articles on home ownership as part of a month-long campaign aimed at helping first time buyers.

Belfast Live is staging a Mortgage Month throughout June, which it hopes will help those buying their first house or moving home.

The site is holding Mortgage Month in association with Ulster Bank.

Editor Chris Sherrard has hailed the partnership, which is a first within Northern Ireland digital media.

He said: “We’re very proud of the relationship we share with our readers.

“Almost half of Belfast Live readers are under the age of 34 and it’s a passion of mine that we provide content which informs, educates and inspires.

“With Mortgage Month, that is exactly what we’ve set out to do.

“The short-form digestible articles created in partnership with Ulster Bank, will help provide information home buyers need in order to gain the confidence for embarking on their home-buying journey.”
