Sex act woman made gun gestures at daily court reporter

AkbarA woman caught performing a sex act outside a church made gun gestures to a female court reporter after being jailed.

Rasila Akbar, left, also told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner journalist she was a “dangerous woman” as she was led away from the dock at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court.

Akbar was jailed after failing to comply with a community order imposed after CCTV operators caught her engaging in oral sex in St Peter’s Gardens, Huddersfield.

As she was led away, the mother-of-three took issue with the Examiner’s coverage of a previous hearing in August at which she pleaded guilty to a charge of outraging public decency as well as charges of assault and possession of a bladed article in public.

She had also assaulted her neighbour in a row over rubbish and was then found with a knife at Dewsbury railway station, which she claimed was for foraging mushrooms.

At the latest hearing, Akbar demanded to know if the Examiner was present, before claiming that she went by a different name than stated on the official court record and that she was the victim of mistaken identity.

She then claimed that she did not have three children before pointing her fingers towards the reporter in a gun-like gesture, imitating pulling a trigger.

Akbar said: “[In publishing the initial article] you made a very good decision to put my children’s lives at risk. You’re too right, I am a very dangerous woman.”

Before the outburst, magistrates had activated a suspended sentence imposed upon her at the previous hearing.

Andy Day, defending, explained that she suffered from bipolar disorder and other psychological issues.

I was once threatened while having a pee during a high-profile court case. Needless to say I was helpless for a minute or two. Not fake news.
