A conference on the subject of local online video is being hosted by a university tomorrow.

The event, run by the School of Journalism at Coventry University, will look at the state of play of the local online video market and investigate how this is being embraced by the mainstream media.

The conference will be chaired by associate senior lecturer David Hayward, with speakers including Notts TV director Nigel Dacre and the university’s head of journalism, Rachel Matthews.

The event will be held at the Alan Berry Lecture Theatre, on Priory Street, Coventry, from 1pm to 5pm tomorrow.
