New commercial appointments announced at regional publisher

Tony LittleA regional publisher has announced the appointment of two senior commercial directors to new roles.

Jonathan Cropley, currently commercial director for Archant’s Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire operations, relinquishes that post and takes up the role of commercial director for Norfolk and Suffolk.

Tony Little, pictured left, the present commercial director of Archant’s London and Kent businesses, takes on the additional responsibility of the two counties vacated by Jonathan.

Both men take up their new roles from Monday and will ultimately report to the company’s yet to be appointed chief commercial officer.

Johnny Hustler, acting chief commercial officer, said: “Jonathan joined Archant in October 2012 from Local World and will be re-locating to Norwich with his family in the next few months.

“He has stewarded a fantastic turnaround at Herts and Cambs, and this is a well-deserved step up in responsibility.

“Tony has been publishing director of our London and Kent business since February 2011 following a successful career with Autotrader, and has been instrumental in achieving significantly improved results from two highly competitive markets.

“He will divide his time between our London and Kent offices, Stevenage and Huntingdon.

“We have had a good start to 2015 and it is good that we are able to promote two exceptional colleagues to these important commercial roles.”

Good luck in your new role, Jonathan, and with your move to deepest East Anglia.

Good move, Archant is a great company, not detracted by the city and recognises good people.
