An unfortunate spelling error was found in a regional daily’s report about an amorous couple enjoying themselves in a public house toilet.
Thankfully the mistake was spotted and The Northern Echo’s web story about their exploits was later updated to include the missing ‘l’ from a police quote about the incident, as later clarified by editor Peter Barron on Twitter and his blog.
