A Welsh weekly celebrated 125 years in print with a special 20-page supplement.

Readers of the Brecon and Radnor Express were treated to a potted histroy of its origins, memories from staff and archive cuttings as part of the souvenir.

The supplement forms part of a year of events to celebrate the landmark, which included staff meeting the Prince of Wales in and the newspaper publicising the the Prince’s Countryside Fund charity in return.

During his visit to the Abergavenny head offices of owner Tindle Newspapers, in December, the Prince unveiled a plaque celebrating the Express’ anniversary.
