Production editor and columnist Pat Keenor is set to leave the North Devon Journal after 8 years at the paper.

Pat, has worked in journalism for 35 years, will continue her career as a freelance.

Other recent job movers within the regional press include Alex Brown, who has left his role of assistant news editor at South Wales Evening Post.

Meanwhile Alana Lewis, news editor at sister title the Llanelli Star has announced via Twitter that she is now on maternity leave.

In other moves, James Crawley has been appointed a reporter at the Bath Chronicle.

And reporter Hannah Bewley has left her role at the Willesden and Wembley Observer after three years with the paper.
