Web browsers fall but print circulation up for MEN

Print sales of the Manchester Evening News went up month-on-month in February while web visitor numbers fell according to monthly multiplatform figures released by the ABC.

The Trinity Mirror daily increased its average daily circulation by 0.9pc in February compared to the previous month.

According to yesterday’s figures it sold an average of 70,339 in February  compared to 69,772 in January.

At the same time, the average daily number of visitors to its website fell by 1.28pc to 253,168.

Sister title the Liverpool Echo saw both its print circulation and average daily visitor numbers fall – in the latter case by 11.2pc.

    So, comparing a month that is often one of the most successful of the year and has 31 days… with one that isn’t and only has 28.
