The PA Group, the parent company of multimedia news agency the Press Association, has announced the appointment of two new non-executive directors.

Dame Helen Alexander, currently chairman of UBM plc, the Port of London and Incisive Media, joins the board in place of David Levin, a former chief executive of UBM plc who is stepping down after two years.

Also joining the board is Dominic Fitzpatrick, managing director of the Belfast-based Irish News, who replaces outgoing non-executive director Alan Crosbie.

Alan, formerly of the Cork-based newspaper group Thomas Crosbie Holdings, was PA’s longest serving non-executive director having joined the board in 2001.
