Four-legged theatre star visits daily’s newsroom

The four-legged star of a national theatre show has paid a visit to a daily newspaper’s office.

Joey, the star of the National Theatre’s smash-hit production of War Horse, trotted into the Edinburgh Evening News building for a quick visit.

Standing 17 hands high, the puppet has helped the production take in excess of £2 million at the city’s Festival Theatre box office.

Accompanied by Lee Armstrong, who plays Albert in the hit show, and Finn Hanlon, who plays Lieutenant Nicholls, Joey met the staff of the Evening News including editor Frank O’Donnell.
