A men’s magazine has voted a former regional journalist who produces her own nude calendar as one of its “hottest women of the week.”
GQ magazine awarded the accolade to Rachael Clegg, a freelance music writer for Sheffield daily The Star and the weekly Sheffield Telegraph, after she released a sneak preview of her motorbike racing-themed calendar called Milestones.
The calendar features motorsport enthusiast Rachael posing at various points on the circuit of the famous Isle of Man TT race.
She appeared in last week’s GQ list alongside such names as Hollywood actresses Reese Witherspoon and Kelly Brook.
A description on Rachael’s website of the calendar, which she has produced since 2011, states: “She wanted the calendar to not only reflect the quirky history of motor racing’s most exciting road race, but also celebrate the visual beauty of the 37 and three-quarter mile course.
“The calendar’s images – all shot at 4am on the relevant sections of the circuit – interpret events in the TT’s history and are accompanied by text, explaining the story behind the image.
“It’s witty, slightly bonkers and visually impressive.”
Rachael worked as a staff reporter at The Star until earlier this year, and in September 2013 was left badly injured in a bicycle crash in the city.
Shel has not responded to requests a comment on the accolade when contacted by HTFP.
