Royal theme for publisher’s new lifestyle magazine

A regional newspaper publisher has launched a new luxury lifestyle magazine with a Royal theme.

Archant Anglia, which publishes the Eastern Daily ExpressIpswich Star and several other daily and weekly titles, has unveiled ‘The Royal Resident’ which uncovers Royal connections and history in west Norfolk.

It includes features on fashion, interiors, country pursuits, beauty, and interviews with well-known local people on the west Norfolk coast, plus tips on how to live your life in style.

The Royal Resident uncovers the Royal connections and history in west Norfolk

The Royal Resident editor Emma Harrowing said: “While there is still speculation over whether the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George will move into Anmer Hall, there is no doubt that west Norfolk is a firm favourite for the Royals.

“The magazine aims to highlight the more luxurious way of life on The Royal Coast whether you are into shopping and food or wildlife and leisure – west Norfolk has it all.”

In the launch issue the magazine takes a look inside the stately home of Sedgeford Hall with Charles and Holly Campbell, finds out why good quality local food is so important to award-winning local chef Eric Snaith and goes on a style journey at Wolferton Station.

The magazine will be available from newsagents priced £3.99 and readers can also subscribe to the digital edition at www.royalresident.co.uk.

interesting that Archant had ignored the west of the county until a new competitor came on the scene who launched a quality free weekly newspaper earlier this year
you would think they would concentrate more on improving their ailing newspapers and to try to stem the flow of readers walking away than to launch yet another monthly magazine in an area already swamped with localised glossies
