Labour leader Ed Miliband has been named as the guest speaker for this year’s Newspaper Conference annual lunch.

The conference comprises London-based representatives of regional press titles across the UK and most of the country’s leading politicians have addressed the annual event in recent years.

Previous guest speakers have included Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Peter Mandelson.
