An advertising campaign has been launched by a regional newspaper publisher to celebrate a surge in ad bookings.
Midland News Association, which produces the UK’s top-selling daily the Express & Star and its sister title Shropshire Star, has launched an advert portraying the titles as energy drinks providing a “boost” to companies.
The adverts, drawn up by the Midland News Association’s own in-house communications team, were designed to promote a 16pc rise in the number of advertisers booking at least one ad space in the last three months compared to the first three months of the year.
Future adverts are also planned including a ‘thank you’ message to readers for contributing to the success by responding to the advertisements.
Lol the days of gullible punters has long since passed!
