A former regional press journalist has transformed his popular blog into a new website.
The website describes itself as a “cultural meander through Bristol with plenty of stops for food and drink along the way” and includes features such as an interactive map with hundreds of reviews, enhanced features listings and Pinterest-style montage images.
Martin is also now able to monetise the website, which he was not able to do while it was a blog, and he is also planning to go into print with a newsletter.
He said: “I have put my heart and soul into building up Bristol Culture over the last few years and I am thrilled that it has now transformed itself into this sparkling new website.”
Bristol Culture has more than 12,000 followers on Twitter and the blog had one-million hits last year.
