LBC radio presenter Nick Ferrari has been named as host of the Society of Editors Regional Press Awards for the third successive year.

A small number of tickets are still available for the ceremony which takes place on Friday 17 May at Savoy Place, London.

Chairman of the judges Paul Horrocks said: “We are delighted to welcome Nick back to host the awards that will demonstrate the huge range and quality of journalism in local and regional newspapers across the UK.”

The Society of Editors Regional Press Awards are made possible by the lead sponsorship of UK Power Networks. They are supported by Asda and Foot Anstey solicitors and are held in association with HoldTheFrontPage and the Press Association.

HoldtheFrontPage is sponsoring the Young Journalist of the Year category for the third year running and publisher Paul Linford will present the award on the day.
