One of the UK’s top stand-up comedians has been booked to be guest speaker at this year’s Birmingham Press Club Christmas lunch.

Joe Pasquale will headline the annual event, which takes place at thestudio in Cannon Street, Birmingham, on Tuesday, December 3.

The I’m a Celebrity winner is also appearing in the pantomime Sleeping Beauty at the Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton, which runs from December 7 until January 18.

Press Club chairman Ed James said:  “Joe is well-known for being one of today’s hardest-working and top-selling comedians and we are thrilled that he has been able to accept our invitation.

“The Christmas lunch is always one of the highlights of the Press Club year – and with Joe there this year will be no exception.”
