Seminar will see launch of new Essential Law book

The latest edition of a law book that is used so regularly by journalists that it is often referred to as ‘the Bible’ will be launched next month.

The 21st edition of McNae’s Essential Law for Journalists will be launched at The Media Law Seminar on 30 March, which is being run by the National Council for the Training of Journalists.

It will include a presentation by Lord Hunt of Wirral, chair of the PCC.

This one-day seminar is for anyone involved in teaching NCTJ media law and heads of journalism who want to influence the debate about the teaching of media law, regulation and ethics.

It will take place at The Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in London.
