Places still available at data journalism seminar

There is still time to book a place on a data journalism seminar which is being held by the National Council for the Training of Journalists this week.

The event takes place on Friday 25 May at Bloomberg in London and will cover topics including sourcing data, analysing and visualising data and utilising data from FOI requests.

There will also be the opportunity for journalism tutors to discuss the teaching of data journalism skills and share best practice.

Speakers on the day include Simon Rogers, editor of the Guardian Data Blog and Datastore, and Paul Addison, managing editor of training at Bloomberg News.

There will also be information provided about opportunities for students with the Bloomberg internship and trainee scheme.

Log onto the NCTJ website to book.
