Midlands venue for annual journalism skills conference

An annual conference run by the National Council for the Training of Journalists is to held in the Midlands this year.

The Journalism Skills Conference brings together decision makers in journalism’s education, training and industry sectors and is aimed at anyone passionate about quality multimedia journalism.

The two-day event will take place in Nottingham in November, and the training body is working in partnership with accredited course providers and the leading media organisations in the area.

There will be opportunity for discussions about the latest issues associated with developing professional journalists across all media sectors.

The conference will also be an occasion to network and celebrate the achievements of those involved in journalism education and training.

The conference will be held on Wednesday 28 November and Thursday 29 November at Hilton Hotel, Nottingham Conference Centre, Nottingham Contemporary, Nottingham Trent University.
