Journalists will don pyjamas for charity walk

Two Welsh newspaper journalists will swap their suits for slippers and dressing gowns to take part in a midnight pyjama walk for charity.

Daily Post news editor Debbie James and Denbighshire reporter Kelly Williams are taking part in the walk to raise funds for children’s hospice, Ty Gobaith.

The six-mile trek from Eirias Park along the prom to Rhos-on-Sea, will see scores of women donning their nightwear on 11 May.

The ladies-only event aims to show solidarity with sufferers of sleepless nights – such as families with terminally ill children.

Said Debbie: “We are prepared to unleash our lovely jim-jams onto the world to help this fantastic cause by walking six miles from Eirias Park in Colwyn Bay, and along the promenade to Rhos-on-Sea.”
