It’s hard not to sympathise with the Belfast Telegraph on this one given that it would have been difficult not to put the picture of the stricken cruise liner on its front page.
Hopefully Saturday’s disaster will not have left its competition to win a dream holiday holed below the waterline.
Only in Northern Ireland lol. I suppose the Belfast Tele was so used to printing front page stories on IRA Republican and UDA loyalist style murders that they could get away with something as “light weight” as a holiday competition over the picture of the death of people on their holiday cruise!!
I wonder when we celebrate the building of the titanics 100 year anniversary later in the spring what front page capers we can expect……

A error of Titanic proportions maybe???

Why did they bother with cruise pic? It is not a national paper and I can’t see the relevance to Northern Ireland. Everyone will have seen the images on TV / internet already. I wish papers would stop pretending they are mixing it with the big boys by pasting a bit of PA copy / pic on the front. Looks rubbish.
