Regional publisher in online video deal

A regional newspaper publisher has launched a suite of affordable online video products for small businesses advertisers across its network of hyperlocal and regional web sites.

Northcliffe Digital, the online arm of Northcliffe Media, has partnered with online video advertising specialist Localstars to showcase the videos through the company’s 400 thisis and localpeople sites.

The videos will range from highly customised ‘mashup ad’ compiled on Localstars’ video ad creation technology using library video, customer images, logos and graphics, to fully bespoke videos filmed by Localstars’ network of local film-makers.

All videos are widescreen with voice-overs to provide maximum impact and are compatible with the latest HTML5 web standard which means they can be played across multiple channels and devices, including mobile phones and iPads.
