Press watchdog will be subject of NUJ meeting

Members of the National Union of Journalists will be able to quiz the Press Complaints Commission at a meeting on Wednesday 2 November.

The meeting will discuss matters including whether the Editors’ Code of Practice is working and if the PCC can be fully effective in a system of self-regulation.

Simon Sapper from the PCC will outline his experience as a commissioner and explain the importance of the role the press watchdog plays as he sees it.

The meeting is for union members only and starts at 7pm at the NUJ on Gray’s Inn Road in London. Email [email protected] to book your free place.
