A regional publisher has appointed a new commercial director to oversee one of its divisions.
Chris Moore will take on the role at Archant Norfolk from 1 March after previously working as the head of advertising sales and marketing for Newsquest North-East.
In that role he was based at Darlington and responsible for advertising revenue at the Northern Echo and its sister weekly titles, niche publications, glossy magazines and websites.
Chris has also won a number of awards, including being the first winner of the Newsquest Challenge Award in 2005 and the Senior Advertisement Sales Manager of the Year in 2006.
The announcement about his appointment was made to staff in a memo from Stephan Phillips, managing director of Archant Norfolk, who also said a new relationship and business development director had been chosen.
Gary Attfield has been promoted to that new role from 1 March and will report to Chris as he aims to develop campaigns to help the publisher’s top-spending customers as well as attracting new customers.
