Movember money tops £7k at Archant

News teams from a regional newspaper publisher raised thousands of pounds when they took part in the ‘Movember’ fund-raising drive in aid of prostate cancer charities.

The sports desk team at Archant Norfolk raised an impressive £1,075 and a further £6,500 was raised by a  network of Norwich City fans set up by the paper.

Web editor Pete Raven said: “At the start of the month we expected to raise no more than £500 but to have doubled that is a magnificent effort from all involved. Many thanks to all those generous types out there who donated.”

At Archant Publishing Services in Norwich a team of 11 grew moustaches for the cause to raise £250. Pictured are Lee Protheroe, Adam Kimberley, Andy Crafter, Mikey Godden, Brendan Purchase, Ian Clayson, Chris Elms, Richard Futter, Andy Magem, Tim Smith and Mathew Smith.
