Deadline looms for ‘stars of the future’

The deadline is looming in a competition to find journalism’s ‘Stars of the Future.

The competition, being run by the National Council for the Training of Journalists’ in partnership with regional newspapers as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations, closes to entries next Friday, 27 May.

Entrants need to submit a 200 word news story to their local newspaper about events or issues in their local community, school or college, or their family.

Each winner will have their story printed in the paper along with a feature about themselves.  More information on the competition is available on the NCTJ website.
