The Eastern Daily Press and Express and Echo were among the winners at the 14th annual Newspaper Awards.

Exeter daily the Echo was crowned top environmental newspaper company while the EDP was named best regional paper.

Weekly newspaper of the year went to the Cumberland News and HomeLife magazine, produced by the Jersey Evening Post, was named regional supplement/magazine of the year.

The Newspaper Awards are run in association with the Production Journal and is the only industry prize scheme to celebrate the best in newspaper and news media production.

The ceremony was held last night at the London Hilton and the full list of winners can be seen below.
