There's warning signs to be spotted

Ignorance is bliss so the saying goes but perhaps not when it comes to matters of personal health.

A worrying new survey from Cancer Research UK suggests that one in seven people cannot name a single symptom of the disease.

A tenth of women surveyed and 19pc of men were unaware that lumps, changes to moles and unusual bleeding were all signs of cancer, according to the charity.
