Life is meaningless for the young

Life is ‘meaningless’ for one in ten young people, according to a new study by the Prince’s Trust.

The majority of the 16 to 25-year-olds surveyed who felt this way were not in education, work or training.

While over a quarter were depressed and less happy than when they were younger.

Visit youth projects in your area and conduct a similar survey.

Have teenagers and young adults on your patch successfully battled depression to turn their lives around?

And are others just taking the first steps in a new direction such as retraining with help of local youth workers?
