The Herts Advertiser has unveiled a new look designed to enable the story-count to be increased.
The redesign has been overseen by new editor Matt Adams in between his recent charitable skydiving exploits.
Said Matt: “The aim of the redesign is to emphasise the quality of the product in its marketplace, allow for a better use of pictures and to overhaul some of the more tired and dated furniture used editorially.
“There is a greater emphasis on website exclusives both in news and sport, and tighter design with a point size reduction of 0.5 to the body text in order to fit in more stories while allowing for bigger photos.”
The Archant-owned free title, which circulates to 52,000 homes in the area around St Albans, appeared with its new look for the first time last week.
