Friday Funnies: When three goes into six

As the weather takes on a distinctly autumnal feel, it’s a welcome return this week for another dose of Friday Funnies. There’s still a while to go till those Christmas festivities get under way, so hopefully today will sees the beginning of a good run of comical cock-ups arriving in our inbox to brighten up the autumn months.

First up, there appear to have been some mathematical miscalculations in the Tottenham Journal office:

A double helping from Newcastle’s Evening Chronicle now. We think the paper may have stumbled upon a medical marvel in Newcastle United FC player Andy Carroll:

And a heart-warming tale of a soldier who is obviously not marrying for money:

We’re not sure what an “outburt” is but we think it’s a spelling error rather than the name of an under-achieving councillor:

We definitely won’t be eating in this guy’s restaurant in the near future (from Liverpool Echo):

Finally, this entry from The Northern Echo goes to show you should never mess with Harriet Harman:

In the paper’s defence, Ms Harman does get a mention in the story further down, but the picture and headline combo just made us chuckle!!
