Entries open for EDF Energy South West Media Awards

The entry form for the EDF Energy South West Media Awards 2009 is now online at HoldtheFrontPage.

We’re looking forward to a top-notch summer awards event to reward the best in the west with prizes for their journalism.

The EDF Energy South West Media Awards cover Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

Whether you are a writer, photographer, presenter or broadcast journalist, these are the awards for you.

Sponsored by EDF Energy, and run in conjunction with HoldtheFrontPage, they offer cash prizes for individual winners, and trophies for company entries.

The entry form can be downloaded here.

Once you have downloaded the form you need to print it out and get your entry in before the 27 March deadline. It will need to be signed by a senior editorial executive. If your form is not signed, it may not go forward for judging.

There are 20 categories to choose from this year with, the addition of the new Designer of the Year category, and we hope all branches of the local media will embrace the competition with the same enthusiasm and dynamism with which they carry out their day-to-day work.
