Advertisement sales house Mediaforce has added to its growing portfolio of regional sales briefs after winning the contract to run national ad sales for the DC Thomson’s daily newspapers in Dundee.
Now it will also be representing the Dundee Courier and Evening Telegraph and their respective websites, in addition to DC Thomson’s other Scottish daily newspapers, the Aberdeen Press & Journal and the Evening Express.
Of the team of three which previously covered national sales for DC Thomson, two will be redeployed within the group and the third is retiring, according to Mediaforce.
Lawrie Procter, Mediaforce managing director, said the two newspapers offered “unrivalled coverage” across their local market.
Mediaforce already carried out national ad sales for Johnston Press before its recent aquisition of the DC Thomson and Northcliffe briefs.
