Deputy editor of the Bucks Herald Peter Davidson has left the paper.

Peter was in the role for eight years and worked in both the title’s former offices in central Aylesbury and the Herald’s new base, reports the weekly.

Peter said: “I have made many contacts over the years and will be sad to leave them behind.

“I wish everyone at the paper all the best for the future and will certainly be keeping in touch with all the goings on in Aylesbury Vale.”

Editor Ellen Campbell added: “Peter helped me greatly when I first arrived and has continued to do so.

“He will be missed and we all wish him well.”

Peter was unavailable to comment further on his future plans.
