The 2009 Digital Camera Photographer of the Year competition is now open for entries.
Open to both amateur and professional snappers, it offers three cash prizes of £500, £250 and £100 in each of the ten categories with a £10,000 prize to the overall winner.
In addition, all 30 prize winners will received a year’s subscription to Digital Camera magazine while the first place candidates in each category will get one year’s membership to the Royal Photographic Society.
The categories are: this is Britain; world in motion; man-made; planet earth; destination everywhere; fashion; landscapes; people and portraits; black and white and digital vision.
