Packing a green punch in the High Street

High Street supermarkets are failing to increase their eco-friendly food packaging.

A report by the Local Government Association, which names and shames some big supermarket players, found that 38 per cent of packaging in stores cannot be recycled.

Perhaps shops in your town are going green and making an extra effort to buck the trend of packaging waste.

Have look what they’re charging for bags or how they encouraging customers to think green.
