The Eastern Daily PressEDP24 heads the list in the daily category and, along with Scotsman.com, will compete against national newspaper websites FT.com, Guardian Unlimited, Sun Online and Telegraph.co.uk.

In the weekly category the online edition of the Ham & High has made the shortlist, along with the Newham Recorder, Scotland on Sunday, the Sunday Herald, Time & Star, Newsquest’s Thisiswiltshire and Archant football site Pink ‘Un.

Winners will be announced at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Wednesday, May 11.
