Tindle web man leavesfor Adfast

Internet director of the Tindle Newspapers Group, Rob Fogwill, has been appointed technical support manager for the Adfast digital artwork transmission system.

He will head up the sales and support team from July 2. He will provide upload and download user support and highlight the benefits of the system to potential customers.

The appointment coincides with a move to make AdFast, which currently transmits advertising material through the regional press, available to national newspapers and magazines.

Rob has been internet director at Tindle Newspapers since 1997 and has been responsible for the design and implementation of the group’s internet products. They include some 70 locally focused portals for small UK towns.

He also introduced Internet Today, the first ISP to be offered by a regional newspaper group.

Jim Black, managing director of the Burton Daily Mail and chairman of the technical forum responsible for developing Adfast said: “I am delighted that Rob, who has been involved with AdFast since its inception, is now joining on a full-time basis.

“The rate at which AdFast has grown has made it necessary to appointment a full time technical support manager and Rob’s knowledge and involvement with the system will ensure both senders and receivers receive the best quality of support.”
