Football fans have the chance to see their favourite team play at a bargain price – but only if you’re a Swindon supporter!

The Evening Advertiser has teamed up with Swindon Town FC to provide a membership scheme for the popular “Town End” where fans can get in for £10 instead of the usual £15.

The Town Ender membership will be launched for the very first match of the season against Colchester and is designed to create a fervent atmosphere.

Editor Simon O’Neill told readers: “It will be great to have a full Town End next season. We hope this will bring the atmosphere back to the County Ground and give the team a boost.”

A coupon to allow the cheap entry was being printed in today’s (Monday) Advertiser which, once taken along to the matches, will enable fans entry for just £10.

Town chief executive Pete Rowe said in the Evening Advertiser: “We are giving the fans what they wanted. At the Fans’ Forum last season they asked us for the chance to just turn up on the day and pay £10 to get in. This scheme enables us to offer that.”
