With the new football season just days away, the Herts Advertiser has announced a sponsorship deal with the fastest-growing Sunday football league in the area.

The Verulam & District Sunday Football League, which begins in September, has received £1,000 in sponsorship from the paper.

Both division of the league will receive coverage in the Advertiser, as well as the latest league tables and photographs, when the season kicks-off.

League secretary, Sandie Moss, said: “It is an honour for the league to be sponsored by the Herts Advertiser and it is a great opportunity for us to build on what we have achieved and continue to grow in the future.”
