Search posters printed by Mail

The Hull Daily Mail is joining the search for Rachel Moran, who disappeared on New Year’s Day.

The paper has distributed 1,000 posters showing a recent picture of the 21-year-old across East Yorkshire appealing for information.

The posters include her description and the police contact number for people to call if they have any information.

They will be displayed in the windows of shops and pubs in the area in the hope that it may lead to some new clues to her whereabouts.

  • Pub landlord Colin Edgecumbe, puts up a poster appealing for information about Rachel Moran.
  • Rachel was last seen in Hull in the early hours of New Year’s Day walking the short distance from her parent’s house to her home that she shares with her boyfriend, Mark Shepard.

Mark spoke of his distress. He said: “I am not sleeping at night and I can’t eat properly. I still hope and believe she is all right but the days seem to be getting longer and longer.”

Mail editor John Meehan said: “We want to do everything we can to help find Rachel.

“We hope that these posters will raise awareness, help with the search and encourage people to keep looking out for her.

“We urge anyone with information to contact the police immediately.”
